Term 3... So Far......

This Term we have been working on a Science topic Feathers, Fur and Leaves. This has involved learning about Living and Non-Living things and how living things are classified. We talked about the types of animals we would find in different environments and collected leaf litter to check our theory. This week we produced a poster to demonstrate what we understand about the classification of living and non-living things. In the second half of the term we will be focusing more closely on plants.

As you are aware Rachael and Kim will both be on leave in the next week and Anne Booth and Neil Van Zanten will be working with our classes. We have great work planned and we know the kids will enjoy working with them.

Today was the first day of JP Swimming. The rain held off and the kids all had a great start. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's weather.

Week 6

Hi Everyone,
This week the students will be bringing home a note about interviews which will be held in Week 9. Please return the slip as soon as possible to ensure we can fit you in at your preferred time.
It is nice to be back after having time off due to pressing family issues.
Don't forget about our excursion next week. If you haven't paid please do so as soon as possible.

Week 4

It has been great to be underway with our Read, Write, Inc Program as well as our literacy groups. Thank you to those parents who have kindly volunteered their time. The students have settled in well and we look forward to the term ahead.
